Management restructuring FAUN Group
Company owner Dr. Johannes F. Kirchhoff to transfer the operational management of the FAUN Group to Patrick Hermanspann (CTO) - Dr. Armin Vogel (CSO) is leaving the organisation and transfers his duties to Tim Collet.
On 1 March 2013 Dr. Johannes F. Kirchhoff, CEO of the FAUN Group, will transfer the operational management of the Group to the current CTO (Chief Technical Officer) Patrick Hermanspann. The Kirchhoff family acquired the FAUN Group in 1994 under the leadership of Dr. Johannes F. Kirchhoff and built it into the European market leader for waste collection vehicles and roadsweepers. With the integration of the ZOELLER Group into the KIRCHHOFF Group, managing partner Dr. Kirchhoff will be concerned with new areas of activity. In future, Dr. Kirchhoff will concentrate more closely on the further development of KIRCHHOFF Ecotec, with the two main FAUN and ZOELLER brands. In the course of this, Patrick Hermanspann will take over the operational management of FAUN. Hermanspann has worked in the Group since 1999 and, prior to assuming the role of CTO, was very successful as Head of Marketing, expanding FAUN Services as a leasing company and developing the FAUN brand in China.
As from 1 March 2013, export activities within the FAUN Group will also be reorganised. Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Dr. Armin Vogel is leaving the organisation at his own request and will be transferring his responsibilities to Tim Collet, CEO of the Swiss subsidiary J. Ochsner AG. Dr. Vogel was Marketing Director at FAUN from February 1995 and was CEO of FAUN Expotec from September 1995. He also became a member of the Group Management Board in 1999, with responsibility for international sales and marketing for FAUN as CSO. In this role he was a strong driving force behind the development of the Group. Dr. Vogel will now take up a leading position in the waste management and recycling company Fritz Schäfer GmbH. Dr. Johannes F. Kirchhoff, the Kirchhoff family and the entire team at FAUN would like to thank Dr. Vogel for his many years of excellent service to the company. During this time, he made an extraordinarily strong impression on the brand and achieved outstanding success in the sales area through development of new markets and client relationships. The Export area will in future be led by Tim Collet. Collet joined FAUN in 1995, when he took over the management of the Marketing area from Dr. Armin Vogel. In the course of his work for the FAUN Group, Collet was responsible for development and integration of the FAUN acquisition Papaix SAS in France and later became CEO of the French branch of the company, FAUN SA in Toulouse. He then worked intensively on the development of new foreign markets, and also achieved great success as CEO of J. Ochsner AG, a position which he will retain within his new role.
